The basis of “Museum of Russian Harmonica of A. Mirek” is the collection of musical instruments (bayans, accordions, harmonicas) of prof. A.Mirek. This collection was being completed during 55 years of researching work.
Among the musical instruments there are not only regional examples represented, but also concert ones. For example, the first Russian bayan of P.Sterligov (1904), reflecting the first line of accordions.
Also you can meet with the collection representing the period in the development in Russian musical culture after the Great October Revolution (1917).
There are a lot of rare instruments belonging to famous musical public figures.
You can see the variety of reed instruments (hand, foot and orchestra mechanisms).
There are unique exhibits at the collection: the first harmonica of A.Deben (Paris, 1832), collection of rare lip harmonicas and accordions of Italy (1895), Germany, France, Poland and Austria.
It is very interesting to get acquainted with the collection of mechanisms, which are used in the process of harmonicas producing.
The collection of stamps of famous masters is of great value. The collection of personal properties of the owners of the musical factory is also very interesting.
Rare book (notes)
The collection of notes (214 unities) is interesting with the first self-taughts in which there were figures used. There is a collection of notes from 20 different countries.

Unique documents (102 units) broaden our outlook about the history and life of harmonica.
You can get acquainted with the ‘diplomas’ of famous musicians and “patents for producing of unique harmonics” of famous masters.
There are 667 posters reflecting the history of musical performances from the end of the 19th century till nowadays.
Photograph fund
There are unique photographs of the end of the 19th century till nowadays in the fund of the museum (about 288 unities). Among them are the photos of Vorontsov’s family- the first factory-owners of Tula, the photo of the factory of brothers Kiselev and their family, the photo of the famous harmonica player- Peter Nevsky.
Numismatics
Rewards of famous masters und musicians (51 unities) such as Chulkov, Orlansky, Titorenko, which were won at the international competitions.
